The LNR Pro Series kicked off it’s 2012 practice races tonight at Texas Motor Speedway. Six cars showed up to practice and prepare for the 2012 racing season. Early in practice it looked like a two-car battle was heating up between Mike Husby and Jon Doble, but when Greg Netherwood showed up and started tweaking on the setup in his #5 FXCaprara Chevrolet Impala, it was all over for the rest of the field.
Leading the final 91 laps of the race, Netherwood was unstoppable. His car hooked up better and longer than anyone else’s. Apparently, it wasn’t even a Texas setup as he claims he put his Chicagoland setup with a few adjustments in the car.
Mike Husby survived to bring his car home in second-place as the final car on the track. Third-place went to Patrick Hahe. Jon Doble and Chip Hansen rounded out the top-5.
Next week the LNR Pro Series’ practice schedule continues at The Milwaukee Mile.
