Due to excessive sponsor adjustments on the official reservation list, the LNR Board of Directors along with the LNR Owner's Committee elected to establish a primary sponsor reservation limit of 4 primary sponsors during the offseason. In addition, primary sponsor reservations go through a "lock" period, a month before the 2010a season begins and will unlock for changes 2-4 weeks before the 2010b season begins.

Primary sponsor reservations are now locked for the 2010a season. There are a few instances you can find yourself in now that sponsors are locked. This is how they work.

• You are a driver with more than 4 sponsors listed. The reserved sponsor limit is 4, so you will be unable to add or replace sponsors until you achieve that limit.
• You are a driver with 4 sponsors listed. You have reserved all your sponsors and may not remove them from the list until the list unlocks for sponsorship changes near the end of the 2010a season.
• You have less than 4 sponsors listed. While you cannot remove sponsors from your list, if you have open slots, you may add them throughout the season to your reservation list until you reach the maximum of 4.
• You are a new driver to the league. You can add sponsors up to the limit of 4. If the sponsor you want to use is taken, you are not completely out of luck. You can still contact the driver who has the sponsor you desire to use reserved and ask for permission to run it. Even if you aren't ready to add sponsors, please post with the number you wish to use, your first name, and your last name. This is more or less considered the official number list for LNR, so to reserve your number, you should post as well.

Just because a sponsor is claimed does not make that sponsor off limits. Check with that specified driver (via PM, please do not use this thead) for permission to use the sponsor in question.
